Decorreu no passado dia 22 e 23 o Campeonato de Clubes de Espanha na cidade de Leganés em Madrid.

Um pavilhão com as bancadas completas de apaixonados da modalidade, viram uma prova que juntava os atletas das categorias juvenis até seniores, afim de encontrar os vencedores deste campeonato que apurava os clubes para o Europeu de Regiões.

            Nuno Moreira, Jorge Sousa e Vitor Silva estiveram no evento a competir pela região da Cantabria afim de ajudar a equipa de Karate Club Bezana atingir o objectivo de alcançar o podio; infelizmente a sorte não esteve do lado dos competidores visto que logo no sabado viam um colega de equipa impossibilitado de competir por uma lesão contraida no lombar, já com uma baixa a equipa chegou a domingo passando a primeira eliminatoria caindo na segunda ronda frente á equipa da Rioja que acabaria em 3ºLugar.

Após o empate de 2-2 em confrontos e com o ultimo encontro a decidir tudo, o arbitro teve uma brilhante saida quando após um choque entre os adversarios, este penalizar o competidor da equipa portuguesa alegando que este estava a fazer fita, acabando por penalizar o atleta levando o combate ao empate, mal o arbitro recomeça o combate o atleta começa a sangrar pelo contacto que supostamente era fita.

            Como é natural esta situação gerou polemica, deixando a equipa triste pelo sucedido impossibilitando desta forma cumprir o objectivo traçado. Ficou apenas o contentamente de um bom trabalho realizado pelos maiatos nesta prova que os Espanhois chamam de combates de primeira liga.

            Nuno Moreira esteve em bom plano realizando um bom combate com acções pontuaveis de grande espectaculo, levando o presidente da Federação Espanhola a convidar o maiato a estar presente no grande evento espanhol que se realizará em Murcia no mês de Junho.
